I saw ‘Touching the Void’ with Fran, her mum, Tim & Matt at the Moonlight Cinema, across the park from my place. The movie was really simple – a story of two young guys from Northern England attempting to climb a mountain. It starts off slow and the intensity builds.
It's a story of personal choice, dogged determination and survival. I can't find sufficient words to describe what Joe did. If you like true stories of mountains, the outdoors or personal courage / insanity, go see it.
Hey Ro,
I've just booked my tickets! I saw some reviews on this film on Oprah of all places and forgot the name of the film. Thanks for reminding me!
