Last Saturday Suzie and her fab new boyfriend Dipen took me to ‘Napoli in Bocca’, an Italian restaurant in Haberfield. All the food was good but the Tiramisu was, well, words just can’t describe. Try it.
After (most of a bottle of) wine at dinner they dropped me outside Clare’s place. I tottered across the road in my high heels and ripped off my jacket at the door. It was Clare’s 30th and a Sex and the City party.
Everyone else there seemed to have drunk more than me so all was well. Mick took some slightly skew-whiff pics of Clare and me in our red and black get ups.
I awoke with a relatively clear head on Sunday in time to drive up to Pete’s Ridge with Tammy for a 2 hour horse ride in the sunshine. Every time I go I wonder why I don’t go more often. Speckles of sun shone on the forest floor. The branches swayed gently in the breeze. The running creek and rhythmic hoof beats were so soothing. And, mmm, that most beautiful sweet smell of horse…
Must go again soon.
Oh I lurve Napoli in Bocca but I go for the pizza, not the tiramasu - I've never been a fan -too much cream, not enough chocolate.
