Saturday night at Fran's place involved lessons in how to operate a BBQ. An important skill for spring. Very yummy dinner. Fran, I want your fish recipe!
Sunday was the 'SMH Spring Picnic' at Centennial Park. Thanks to everyone in our group. I had a lovely day. Mich and Pete surprised me by coming along with their dog Maya. They took a cute pic of Ben and me.
I think I spilled more wine than I drank (luckily). Was delirious by the end of the day from the mix of white wine, sunshine and excitement of catching up with people. Yay :)
I'm with you on the fish - its an awesome dish!
I usually use salmon, but i guess you can use any fish you fancy...
2 cms ginger grated
1 handful corriander chopped
1 large red chilli
2 cloves of garlic
Lots of soy (to cover the fish pieces whilst they're marinading)
Mix all of the above
Cover and marinade for an hour in fridge.
Put fish in foil, drizzle with honey, pile chopped stuff on top.
Close foil and put in the oven or on the bbq for about 10mins, or until salmon is done.
yum.
