I put down my dear Basil (an event horse) in October when his incurable melanoma started causing him pain. RIP Basil. It took a few months before I could start to think about riding again.
In February I started part-sharing Bock, a magnificent dressage horse. He has lovely paces and is well schooled. I'm learning a lot with him, as well as being thoroughly entertained by his cheeky personality!

It's wonderful that you are able to think of riding again. I'm sure Basil is pleased. I posted a comment earlier regarding Basil under my username JackieB.
Bock is stunning. And so tall!!!!!! My Magnificent Steed, Buster, is 15.1hh and that's plenty tall for me. :)

Thanks Tom, lovely to hear from you again. Bock is very large, 17.2hh! He reminds me of the giant horse in the movie Avatar! It is great to be back in the saddle again :-)
